This is a site dedicated to the conversion of TSR's Marvel Superheroes Role-Playing Game Material to stats presented in the Mayfair Exponential Gaming System developed by Mayfair Games for the DC Heroes Role-Playing Game. The main reason behind this site is because of all the superhero systems I've played in my three decades of gaming, I've found the MEGS system to be the most adaptable to the superhero genre. Also, this would give me, and my gaming group the ability to have our combined DC/Marvel world, where we would have those Marvel characters written out.
Now, at its base, the Marvel game hamstrings its characters with the "CLASS 100" Strength upper limit. Over the years I've developed several formulae to help in the transition from the lower end Marvel stats to the higher end DC stats. You can't very well have Thor max out at a strength of 12, go up against Superman who has an STR of 25 now, can you?
So please, come, enjoy it. Feel free to offer comments and constructive feedback. If I feel that your feedback merits a change I'll do my best to incorporate it.
I will be using the DC Heroes 3rd Edition rules, with limited influence from The Blood of Heroes (Let's call it MEGS 3.5) RPG to complete these conversions. Any rules used from Blood of Heroes will be posted in the "New Rules" section located below.
For the sake of continuity, note that these writeups reflect the characters as they were as of the 2008 source material
SOURCE MATERIAL
Sources for these conversions do come from some dated material. Therefore sources for these conversions are as follows:
