Kurse, or Valgoth as the Asgardians now call him, is a creature brought back from death to serve as a living vessel of rage, first against Thor, then against Malekith. Kurse is usually silent (he makes Hogun appear loquacious by comparison). Kurse's anger against Thor might be rekindled by one who is devious and hateful enough (i.e. Loki).

Exusiai's Notes So, this is one of those characters I know very little about. Basically, he is a massive Brick that was a Thor foe. He is large, strong, and durable. One of those things you don't want to meet in a dark alley at night.
