Hello Exusiai, Here are some resources to help you out. This information is sourced from Marvel Comics most updated version of their handbook the OHOTMU A-Z collection. According to OHOTMU A-Z Vol 3 Dr. Strange's mystical might is not hampered when outside of his home Earth dimension. He is a human sorcerer and does not suffer from the same limitation that many extra dimensional entities like Dormammu or Mephisto do when they leave their home dimension. I have attached the entries for Dr. Strange, Dormammu, and Mephisto from the OHOTMU A-Z Vol 3 and Vol 7. Doctor Strange.pdf (828.26 KB) Doctor Strange.pdf (828.26 KB) Dormammu.pdf (874.24 KB) Mephisto.pdf (927.67 KB)

So, I did this for a specific reason.
Magik is the Sorceress Supreme of Limbo, but her power is greatly reduced on Earth. For me, and for Gameplay, I feel if someone is the Sorcerer Supreme of a particular dimension, then the further they are from that dimension, the less powerful they are (Home field advantage).

Hello Exusiai, I really appreciate you addressing this. Copy that on why you did it that way. The issue with that is in the Marvel Comics Universe and Handbooks to include the Marvel rpg game set Handbooks to include the Books of Magic Dr. Strange's powers don't function that way. He is a normal Earthborn human sorcerer who learns how to cast spells to manipulate magic. Most extra Dimensional beings are actual sources of magical energy and tied to their home dimension. While Magik's power is tied to the Limbo dimension because of Belasco that dimensions original Sorcerer Supreme who kidnaped her as a 5 year old and tainted her soul. This is how she gets her mystical power and why when she is not she is not in Limbo her magic is greatly reduced. Earthborn sorcerers like Dr. Strange, Shaman, and Baron Mordo to name a few don't suffer that weakness. But its your website so not a problem. Please keep up the great work.

Illyana is a normal Earthborn mutant who learned Magic in Limbo, and while yes her soul was tainted the only real result of that is the Darkchylde and the soul blade. While it is true that this particular drawback is not mentioned in the source material mentioned, I made an editorial choice to include it to make it a more balanced write-up.
